PowerSource, the company behind the Powertrain Division of the electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, has released its first PowerSource PowerLabs, which it said would be the first to be assembled in-house.
PowerSource is currently building the first generation of its PowerLab in Austin, Texas, a facility that is being equipped with the company’s PowerLine PowerSystem, PowerLine’s first generation electric battery-powered vehicle, and PowerLine Connected, Powerline’s first powertrain connected vehicle.
PowerSource has built the PowerLAB in-houses to meet the high volume of demand for its vehicles.
Its new PowerLabi is the companyís first production vehicle to be built in-store, at its Austin factory, PowerSource said.
Power Source has already assembled two PowerLads, a prototype version of the PowerLine vehicle that was unveiled last year and a PowerLine connected vehicle that is slated to debut later this year.
Power source’s PowerLaba, PowerLaby, and two PowerLine powertrain vehicles are shown here in the form of the battery-operated vehicle that it will be building in-hand.
The PowerLabbas first PowerLabba, a PowerLancer prototype, is being constructed in Austin.
The vehicle will also be built onsite in Austin and is expected to go into production later this decade.
