On the day of departure, the trucker’s crew prepares for the day ahead, and after he has inspected all the necessary documents and has signed all the contracts, the driver gets to the gate, grabs his passport, and drives off.
As he does so, he takes in a breath, turns on the car’s radio, and turns the ignition on.
On the radio, he tells his driver that he has to go to the airport, that he’s going to get on a plane, that it’s only a few hours away.
The driver nods, looks around the truck, and says, “Okay.”
A few minutes later, the plane arrives at the destination.
The pilot, who usually checks all the paperwork, goes to check out the plane and asks the driver if he has any more questions.
He doesn’t have any more, but asks if he can have the car to get to the plane.
The passenger says, Yes, please.
He then drives the car into the terminal.
The captain, who’s been waiting for a few minutes, asks, “Are you ready to take off?”
The driver replies, “Yes.”
The captain asks, Are you ready?
The driver answers, “yes.”
Then the captain asks the passenger, “Will you give me your passport?”
The passenger nods, says, No, thank you.
The passengers is then asked, “Then you can go.”
The driver responds, “Thank you.”
Then he gets on the plane, which takes off at the beginning of the next day.
