With the No. 2 overall pick, the Los Angeles Rams selected Utah’s Laquon Treadwell with the fifth overall pick.
The pick was the No-1 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Treadwell is expected to be a solid backup to starter Matt Barkley for the Rams.
The 6-foot-2, 209-pound prospect has started five games for the Utah program and is averaging 4.7 yards per carry with three touchdowns.
With Treadmeys size, speed and athleticism, he is a natural at running back, and the Rams also got a talented wide receiver with the pick.
Wide receiver Josh Doctson is a 4-star prospect from Texas, and receiver Tavon Austin is a 5-star recruit from Georgia.
